To introduce relevant statistical techniques in ecological modelling. At the end of this unit, the student will have good knowledge of the theoretical aspects and practical implementation related to these techniques. The course includes lectures on the theory of linear models, nonlinear models, generalized linear models, and mixed-effects models.
