Lecture 1 : General port activity in a global trade environment Lecture 2 : Port management Lecture 3-4 : Visit of Le Havre port and trade port management Lecture 5 : Transport by containers Lecture 6 : Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) terminals Lecture 7 : Port of the future ; challenges and issues Lecture 8 : Presentation of the case studies Each lecture represents one half day (3-hour courses)
Objectifs pédagogiques
This introduction to trade port activities and economy is a series of lectures given by professionals. Technical, economic and prospective aspects are covered during the week. A visit to Le Havre port will be proposed to the students during the week.
